She was a member of First Christian Church, Frankfort, and was past matron of Easter Star Chapter 6 and assistant past grand district deputy of the Order of Rainbow Girls. She was raised in Redkey. Surviving are her husband, William Lacey, to whom she was married in 1947; two daughters, Beverly D. Lacey, Indianapolis, and Linda E Lacey, Hammond; two sisters, Ella Huffman, Connersville, and Olive Greenwell, Grays Lake, Ill, and a brother, Myron Phinney, Fort Wayne.1,2 
BurialHer body was interred on 11 March 1986 in Muncie, Delaware County, Indiana, in Elm Ridge Cemetery.1
