She was united in marriage to Abraham C. Sutton Aug. 20, 1833. To this union two sons, Curis B. and Amos K. Sutton, were born. The husband and the son Curtis B., preceded her to the home beyond. The deceased united with the Christian church at Plum Tree about the year 1875, and from that time lived a devoted christian. During her last illness she told her relatives that the way was clear and she was waiting for the Lord to call her home. Funeral services were held on Friday, conducted by Rev. H. Bridge, and interment was in the cemetery north of Plum Tree.. |
